The members of a string quartet comprising two violinists, a violist, and a cellist are to be selected from a group of six violinists, three violists, and two cellists, respectively.
In how many ways can the string quartet be formed?
In how many ways can the string quartet be formed if one of the violinists is to be designated as the first violinist and the other is to be designated as second violinist?
