4 Homework Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday 15 minutes reading Practise tables Practise spellings Homework Book returned to school. Spelling test Times tables test  New spellings given out & homework given out (Mathletics or mental maths books will also be used periodically.) Please set aside time to support your child with their homework and ensure it’s quality and accuracy.

5 What you need: Water bottle Well-stocked pencil case
PE kit-note colours Swimming kit School shoes every day Contact book every day-initialled when reading. Signed weekly by an adult please Reading book A coat when cold or wet Permission slips and money to be given to class teacher as soon as possible

7 Assessment Age expectations-emerging, expected (met) or exceeding (working at greater depth) will be reported annually and officially assessed in year 2 and 6 Parent consultations will report next step targets Online database used by teachers to plan objectives and to assess on a weekly basis after lessons. This is then used to inform tracking of progress and target setting.
