Review of 10 Second Violation
When an official is late in recognizing a 10 second back violation call the back court violation no adjustment “Game Clock” ball is awarded out of bounds at POI I think what you are getting at here is the official stops play on his own to recognize a late 10 second call. If that’s the case, that could be the heading to remove confusion. It took me a while to figure that out along with a text message to you….and still no repsonse.

Con’t Review of 10 Second Violation
Backcourt Violation by Team A after play is stopped for a common foul Place Time back onto the game clock Ignore Common Foul (penalize violation) Ball is awarded out of bounds nearest to where foul occurred Again if you’re talking about stopping a play for common foul…should be the title/heading and then explain what happens/result in the body

Ten Second Rule Ten Second Count is not reset when the …
Team in control retains possession after a held ball Defense causes out of bounds violation Technical foul assessed to the team in control (appendix V, p. 119)

Mechanical Reminder Trail must have a “visual” 10 second count when shot clock is off

Avoid Turning Away On Held Ball Situations Move in towards the players
Only after ensuring all play has stopped and players are separated, the official facing the table checks the “A-P Arrow” Remind official further away to check shot clock. In two man, do we want both official running in? I know three man in my pregame I like to keep one out just incase shit hits the fan elsewhere.
