ESTIMATION OF NON-OBSERVED FOREIGN TRADE
The volume of non-observed goods is determined as the difference between imports/exports of natural persons (V1) (based on the sample survey results) and free imports and exports of natural persons (V2) as follows: V = V1 – V2 , where V1 = q1 х f and V2 = q2 х f V – non-observed imports/exports; q1 –average quantity of imports/exports (based on the sample survey results) per person; q2 – quantity of free imports/exports per person; f – number of persons crossing the border of Turkmenistan (based on the reporting form 1-PG «Report on citizens crossing the border of Turkmenistan» 2
