ELA:
We are continuing our wondering and questioning unit. The text we are reading this week in class is an article titled Polar Bears in Peril. We are continuing our expository nonfiction unit in writing.
Vocabulary:
Struggle: try very hard to do something.
Skill: the ability to do something well.
Skillful: good at doing something.
Opportunity: a chance to do something.
Generally: usually or almost always.
Decline: get smaller or worse.
Math:
Our math skill this week is measuring an inch, half inch, three fourths, and fourth of an inch. We will also learn how to make and read a line plot and how to answer questions from the data that is used.
