--REMINDERS—
It is SME policy that students who do not complete their homework be placed on yellow.
Please check in with your third grader during the week to make sure they have their homework before Friday.
We have math and 100 minutes of reading log EACH WEEK!
The homework is written in the student planner each Friday for the following week.
Reading- We are learning that a character’s traits, feelings, actions and thoughts have an impact on the events in a story.
Math- We are learning strategies for adding multi-digit numbers.
Writing- We are using mentor text to learn how authors write good, attention-grabbing openings.
Language- We are learning how adding adjectives to our writing creates a picture in the readers mind.
Social Studies- This week we will shift our focus to local government.
