Davis' depiction of his modification of Tansini's musculocutaneous flap. In the legend he noted that he did not include muscles as had Tansini. In the text Davis wrote ‘… plastic operations are not desirable in covering defects left by the radical operation for carcinoma of the breast’ (Davis JS. p. 625).
