2. Classroom Rules Be on time. 4. Use appropriate language
5.  Come to class prepared and remain alert throughout the class.
School rule: All students are responsible for having the necessary materials when they attend class. This would normally include their textbook, pen/pencil, and paper and Ipad
6.  Do not create distractions
Do not get up while class is in session unless necessary. Throw papers away at the end and make sure your pencil is sharpened at the beginning. If you need to get up to go to the bathroom or you need a Kleenex, you may get up as long as you don’t distract others.

3. 7.  Food and drink
Food and drinks are not to be consumed in the classroom.  The only exception is clear water and you must get approval from me.
8.  School Rules
All school rules, as addressed in the Student Handbook, should also be followed.
9.   Cell Phones
School rule: Students will be allowed to use cell phones before school, during class change, and at lunch.  Once students enter their classroom cell phones must be put away and not used during class.
Phones must be in bookbags though the entire class. If I see it I will take it.
10. Respect! Respect! Respect!
All students are to show respect to the teacher, classmates, classroom, and themselves at all times.

1st offense verbal warning call home
2 offense lunch detention call home
3rd offense hour after school with referral
4th hour after school with referral
5th Principal discretion with referral

5. To avoid issues:
No excuses allowed. If you try to give me an excuse for any reason good or bad you will not like the response.
You will not work with others during class time. All work is individual and graded each day. You must correct all work
No talking during class unless hand raised to ask for permission
There will be no personal information discussed during class: do not ask for
Grades, number of absences, what did I miss etc. Check the website amoalf.com for all work. Go to powerschool portal for all . You may see me before class, after school, or call me at home for personal issues.
