January, February, and March pack temperatures dipped into 50°F and 60°F range
Winter 2008/2009
If ambient temperature:
> 25°F: till pack 2x daily
bed as needed; generally 2x per week
< 25°F but > 10°F: till pack 1x daily
bed as needed; generally 1x per day
< 10°F: do not till pack
bed as needed; generally1x per day
Pack temperatures maintained in the mid-70°F throughout the winter .
