In the upcoming weeks, students will learn what light is and how it works. I encourage you to discuss the vocabulary depicted on the “word mat”(underneath homework on this page) . For example, you might lower the lights in your house and tell your child that you are dimming the lights. Please take advantage of the daily teachable moments to reinforce science vocabulary. Thanks for all you do.
