Pedigree = a graphic representation of genetic inheritance
Shape: circle = female ○ square = male □ Shading: shaded = show the trait ● ■ unshaded circles/squares = do not show the trait half-shaded circle/square = carrier (heterozygous) horizontal line = parents ○▬□ vertical line = offspring Each row is a generation, with the most recent generation on bottom.
