Students must use the Mark the Text strategy and write a page of Cornell Notes on the article (this has been modeled for them). Students can turn their homework in a day early on Thursday for extra points. There will be very minimal homework in History (Social Studies) class. Additional homework in this class will be decided upon later in the year. Getting the student’s planner signed by a parent every evening is a very important component to our homework expectations. Planner checks are a school wide policy. Please have your student read at least 30 minutes a night or 2 hours a week.
