How many of you have students that have trouble sitting still in their seats? [show of hands] Young learners need to move their growing bodies. Let’s discuss some ways you currently use movement in your classroom.
Divide participants into groups of three or four.
Give them three to five minutes to discuss the prompt.
Ask someone new from each group to share an example with the whole group.

In this segment we’ll learn specifically how to incorporate movement during transitions. As you watch the video, think about how you might use movement during transitions in your own classroom.
