2. New Credit Courses Algebra I Geometry
May be taken to accelerate to the next level
Geometry
May be taken by students who have completed Algebra I to accelerate to the next level 2

3. RBC students
Current 7th graders wishing to take Algebra I will need to meet the established Acceleration Criteria.
Please make an appointment to speak with your school counselor. A placement rubric will be completed to confirm you meet the criteria for taking Algebra I.

4. Requirement:
All students must have completed previous Math course earning an A or B average.
All quizzes and tests:
Taken at THS on Mondays and Wednesdays: 9-12, June 5th – July 7th from 8:00 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Online sessions must be completed between June 1st and July 7th.

5. Applications:
Information available on the RBC and THS Guidance website.
Application and payment of $325 are due on or before May 19, Program will only run if the minimum enrollment of 20 students is reached in each course.
Return to Mrs. Veenhuis, THS Guidance Department secretary.

6. THS Credit Recovery Deadline to sign up is June 2, 2017
Program runs for three weeks: June 5 -23, 2017
Monday – Friday 8:00 – 10:00 a.m.
Cost is $250 per credit hour

7. Roar into Reading
Reading intervention for Bissell students who have not met the requirements of the Third Grade Reading Guarantee.
Remediation for two hours per day June 20 – 30, 2017.
3rd grade ELA OST will be administered July 11 – 12, 2017
Students notified on June 19 after ELA OST results are released on June 15.

8. Summer Reading Camp
Reading reinforcement for students who completed Kindergarten – Fourth grade. Students are selected based on a Reading Improvement and Monitoring Plan (RIMP) K-3 or participating in Title 1 Reading for grade 4.
July 17 – August 4, 2017
Monday – Friday 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Camp will be held at George G. Dodge Intermediate School
Weekly visits to Twinsburg Public Library
