Motivation for FRSA A study of the different nuclear modes is an interesting problem not only from the nuclear structure point of view but it is very important for the nuclear astrophysics applications. One needs to find methods to reduce numerical efforts and making use of separable interactions gives such a possibility. The particular form of the Skyrme interaction allows to represent it as a sum of separable terms.

SUMMARY It is shown that many properties of the nuclear collective excitations in stable and unstable nuclei can be described within a microscopic approach (FRSA) based on the density functional method. Starting from the Skyrme interactions the GT strength has been studied within the extended FRSA model including both the tensor interaction effect and 2p-2h configurations . .

SUMMARY . The suggested approach enables one to perform calculations in a very large configuration space. Taking into account effects mentioned above results in a reduction of beta-decay half-life times.
