3 What is the Hudson River Art School?
The Hudson River Art School was a group of artist that would hung out together and painted landscapes. They would paint landscapes near the Hudson River. Thomas Cole was the first person to start painting landscapes of upstate New York. Thomas Cole was the founder.

4 How did the Hudson River Art School affect New York ?
The Hudson River Art School affects how we live in New York by contributing artwork to our culture. The paintings will also show you how New York looked in the past. You can compare how the landscape is different from what it looks like now. The Hudson River Art School inspired more artist to paint landscapes.
