Encourage use of PTO or appropriate time away from work – Important to try to avoid burnout Encourage staff to maintain boundaries, take time for other parts of their lives Consider: Do you overtly or subtly reward or applaud the ‘workaholic’ who doesn’t take time off, is always available via text/ , even on days off?
