Unit 3 List 2 Discount- The amount by which the regular price of an item is reduced. Gratuity-The tip. It is a small amount of money in return for a service. Principal- The amount of money deposited or borrowed. Percent Change-A ratio that compares the change in quantity to the original amount. Complex Fraction- A fraction with a numerator, denominator, or both that are also fractions. Simple Interest- The amount paid or earned for the use of money. The formula is l=prt where p is the principal, r is the rate, and t is the time.
