APEST! Apostles are pioneers who like to “do it new”. They tend to be focused externally, think creatively, develop new approaches to outreach, and take calculated risks. They yearn to see the kingdom expanded. To them, Church is all about being SENT.

APEST! Prophets are investigators who like to “do it better”. They tend to be focused on truth, draw near to the heart of God, think analytically, evaluate better and more correct ways of functioning, and question the status quo. They yearn for discernment. To them, Church is all about being HOLY.

APEST! Evangelists are recruiters who like to “do it now”. They tend to be focused externally, act passionately, persuade non-believers to accept Christ and believers to share their faith, and focus on achievement. They yearn to see lives changed. To them, Church is all about being SAVED.

APEST! Shepherds are care-givers who like to “do it together”. They tend to be focused internally, build relationships, disciple or integrate others into the group, and focus on involvement. They yearn for teamwork. To them, Church is all about COMMUNITY.

APEST! Teachers are establishers who like to “do it right”. They tend to be focused internally, think in terms of structure, train or instruct others to integrate truth into life, and organize processes for maximum efficiency. They yearn for competency and consistency. To them, Church is all about TRUTH.
