Tutors Monitor student progress and welfare Monitor attendance
Meet with students at least every two weeks PSHE programme (week 2 Friday 8.45 – 9.15) Covers a wide variety of issues e.g. finance, society and culture and personal safety.

Studying at Advanced Level
College hours 8:45-4:30 Most students are studying 3 A levels Eight hours per subject over the two week timetable All students also have 8 hours direct study time. Students do not need to be in College unless they have a lesson or other enrichment activity

Attendance Expectation is >95% attendance
Post 16 pupils ‘self certify’ Appointments require evidence Known absence- Yellow absence form On the day absence- student/parent must phone and leave a message on ext 332 Attendance monitoring Poor attendance/punctuality

Support Programmes Personalised Curriculum
Students studying 3 A Levels will have 8 hours allocated to the Study Room. PC is informed by class teachers and pastoral staff – concerns, homework, missed deadlines etc. Mentoring Role of the mentor- meet with student in regard to behaviour concerns, attendance/punctuality, marked work, folder organisation, homework, meetings recorded or anything else.

Learning For Life Programme
Students have a compulsory taught session; Learning Skills Philosophy and Ethics Exam Skills Politics The aim of this program is to equip our students with the skills to succeed in college and university as well as preparation for potential interviews
