Each nine weeks period you will be assigned a class project which will count as a test grade.
The project for the first nine weeks will be a Power Point presentation.
The second nine weeks project will be determined at a later date.
Each project will count as two test grades.

7. Grade Calculation
All daily and lab assignments will be given a weight of 1. (counts once)
All test grades will be given a weight of 2. (counts twice)

The Nine Weeks Exam will count as 25% of the final nine weeks grade.

9. Progress Reports
Each student will receive a progress report at the midpoint of the nine weeks grading period.
These are to be signed by a parent or guardian and returned to me in a timely fashion.

10. Exams
The nine weeks exam grade counts as 25% of the first nine weeks grade and will be given Wednesday, October 11, 2006.
The semester exam grade will count as one fourth of the semester average and will be given Tuesday, December 19, 2006.

11. Classroom Rules Follow all CHS rules
It is important to show respect for yourself, your fellow classmates, and your teacher.
Good manners are one of the most important things that you should learn, both in school and out. You are expected to practice them at all times.

12. Classroom Rules
You may eat or drink anything sold by CHS in the classroom.
You must clean up your area. If you spill, you clean.
Please do not wear perfume/cologne/aftershave or scented hand lotions. This is a health hazard.

13. Daily Routine
You are expected to enter the classroom quietly, take your seat, and prepare for class. This means that you should get out your materials and sharpen your pencil before the tardy bell rings.
You are expected to begin immediately on the bell work which will be provided each day.

14. Daily Routine
When the tardy bell rings, roll will be taken. Answer when your name is called.
The Arrowhead will be read each morning. You must be silent and pay attention to the announcements being read. Chances are that there will be important information that you will need during the day.

15. Absences
The best policy is not to miss school. Making up work is difficult.
If you miss, you need to ask for makeup work and schedule any tests missed. This is not my responsibility. It is yours. No makeup work, no grade.
If you are on official absence, you MUST get your makeup work before you leave.

Official absence means that you are counted here for the day. If a test is scheduled for the day you return to school after an official absence, you are responsible for taking it the day it is given.
