31 (38) events completed or planned in 2006 so far.
Approximate 25% of attendees are retirees.
Almost no events targeted at younger children – recruitment campaign to engage parents with young children has yielded two prospective candidates.

5. Treasurer’s Report Highlights As usual, too much money left in bank
We ran fewer events
More events at lower end of % subsidy scale
More guests paying full price
Join the committee – spend IBM’s money
Overall subsidy is 35 percent (Purchases – Sales) * 100 / Purchases
This is a crude measure as it does not take into account the often considerably higher prices paid by non-members who come to events. The real subsidy for members lies much nearer to 40 percent.
