Put the author’s last name in parentheses after the quote or paraphrase you used from their article (Thompson).
If there is no author for the website, put the title for the website in parentheses (“Bibliography & Citing Sources”).
Underline titles of books or websites
Use “quotes” for article titles or titles of web pages

12. Practice with Newspaper Article
Pick an article to read in the newspaper (NO SPORTS!!!). It should relate to a potential controversial topic for your project.
Do a correctly formatted bibliographic citation of the article at the top
Write a summary of the article; include the 5 Ws + H (Who, What, Where, When, Why, How)
Include one quotation from the article… be sure to include a correct citation in parentheses.
