2. What is Coordinated Entry?
Coordinated entry is a process developed to ensure that all people experiencing a housing crisis have fair and equal access and are quickly identified, assessed for, referred, and connected to housing and assistance based on their strengths and needs.

Create a system that streamlines access and referrals to services and housing
Ensure that all people experiencing a housing crisis have fair and equal access
Use standardized tools and practices
Prioritize homeless assistance for those with the most severe service needs and highest vulnerability
Better serve client needs

The community uses a by-name-list of persons experiencing homeless to coordinate and prioritize referrals to housing and services
