Fig 1 Operative views of a representative patient undergoing nonintubated uniportal thoracoscopic wedge resection of the left upper lobe. (A) The patient is anesthetized to maintain spontaneous breathing. The videothoracoscope is introduced along the wound protector with instruments. (B) The operative lung is collapsed after an iatrogenic pneumothorax, and the preoperative tattooed lesion is identified. (C) Wedge resection of the tattooed lesion through a single access port is facilitated by two-directional anchoring sutures.
