Have a super bank holiday weekend Mrs Graham and The Early Years Team
Fox Class News We have enjoyed another busy week in Fox Class! The children have been finding out about the sizes of dinosaurs. We worked out how many feet would fit inside a triceratops footprint, 26! We found out a pterodactyl has a wingspan of 11 metres and we used a Trundle Wheel to measure, counting 11 clicks. The Nursery children have been really busy this week baking yummy cakes and icing them very carefully. They have enjoyed our new water butt and have had lots of fun using it to fill up the water tray and to water all our plants! Next week in Reception we will be finding out what foods dinosaurs ate – exploring how some were carnivores and many were herbivores. We will be making pizzas for part of our maths learning and talking about sharing halves and quarters. For homework this week I wonder if you can find something to halve and quarter? It might be some food? It might be a picture you draw or some numbers? Please put your investigations onto Tapestry and we can share them with the class next week!
