To stimulate your interest in research.
To gain research work experience.
To encourage you to undertake graduate studies.
value: $4500 for a full 16-week period
+ at least a $2000 supplement by
supervisor
Total: $6500.

2. Eligibility Completed all 1st year course requirements.
Cumulative average of 76% (B+ at UBC).
Registered as full-time student at the time of application.
May hold only one USRA at UBC Okanagan.
Can apply to work with any Barber School faculty member who holds an NSERC grant.

3. Deadlines and Procedures
IKBSAS accepts USRA applications once per year for work during the summer term.
Deadline: February 2, 2018, 4 p.m. Submitted to Julie Martin (ASC 407).

4. Application Procedure
Contact a faculty member, and ask her/him to agree to supervise you!

5. Symposium
You will have the option to present your research findings at a Symposium in September 2018
