Situation: MJB Wood Group is a sales, manufacturing, distribution and marketing company that delivers total supply chain solutions. MJB has global reach, with 175 employees and $300 million in revenue. MJB offers a variety of wood products, both domestic and imported. They also offer a full range of innovative supply chain solutions through its integrated Value Network of sales, distribution, logistics and manufacturing partners. Website: Business issue: The customer had an initial requirement for consolidations, given their global locations, but had a vision for expanding to include financial planning and forecasting. Prophix solution: They quickly saw the value of working with multi-currency and allocations as strong product features. They have multiple ERP's but use Ramco in the US. The ability to have Sharepoint integration was also of value as they currently utilize it in their processes. Benefit realized / planned: They expect to improve the efficiency of their financial processes by using Prophix to assist with consolidations.
