How to Enter the Connecticut Poetry Society Contests or submit to the Connecticut River Review Go to this link: Use Submit up to three poems, in one document, no more than one poem per page. No contact info on poems. (Contact information will be requested separately via Submittable). Only the current contests or publication will appear

You will be asked to either create an account or to sign in if you already have an account

You will be asked to check your information is correct

You will be asked to title your submission (so you can find it later) I used Entry for 2018 Nutmeg Award

For cover letter I just listed the poems I entered- Your instructions may tell you what is required in the cover letter

I can now attach the file that has my three poems in it-One poem per page- in our contest no more than 80 lines

Scrolling down the page I am asked how I would like to be charged for the fee, in this example $10-
I can use Pay Pal of a credit card number. If you do not have a Pay Pal account you would need to open one which is easy and a safe way to pay online

If you are ready you can hit the submit button, there is also a save as draft button.

Later, I can check my submissions including others I may have made to other publications by going to this link: and signing in

When you sign in you are taken to this page where you can do several things like search for other contests and publications or check on you submissions. Click on the submissions button

You can now check the status of your submissions, and withdraw one, or other options
