Objectives Think about creative, innovative, and effective ways you can teach some of the more difficult concepts in your discipline. Know the most difficult concepts in other disciplines. Identify the top 5 concepts that are most difficult for students to learn in math (5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, Alg I) and science (5th, 8th) Identify overlaps in the most difficult concepts across these disciplines and grade levels. Brainstorm ways teacher across grades and disciplines can address these most difficult topics/concepts.
8
Your Task Look at the item analysis for your assigned discipline and grade level for each year. Identify the top 5 most missed questions and the corresponding topic for the questions for each year. Look for overlaps in the identified topics and record those on your poster paper. Below the identified overlaps, record other topics that surfaced in your analysis. Record the findings from other groups on your record sheet.
