Lunar eclipse facts There are three types of lunar eclipses:
Partial Full Penumbral Refraction causes the moon to look red during an eclipse Eclipse can last up to 3 hours 45 minutes Lunar eclipse can be seen by more people than a solar eclipse

Tilt of the earth Seasons on Earth (Graphic)

Tilt of the earth Higher angles of Sun’s rays are more concentrated (90 degrees ) Lower angles of the Sun’s rays are less concentrated (30 degrees)

Tilt of the earth The intensity of the Sun’s ray also vary in intensity depending on how much atmosphere they travel through.

Tilt of the earth Solar radiation travels through space as an electromagnetic wave at the speed of light (300,000 kilometers/second) Waves include visible light, infrared, and ultraviolet. Other waves are more strongly absorbed by our atmosphere The Sun’s energy heats objects on Earth, those objects the radiate heat around them.
