Life Study: The Nude Figure
2
Our next project will be sculpting a nude figure using a live model.
Building on additive and subtractive hand building skills developed last year, this project will hopefully challenge you with an elevated study of the figure as a three dimensional form.
3
Project Guidelines: Size: elbow to wrist.
Integrate an object into the piece. Play with size relationships (proportion of figure and object.) Show clearly distinct differences in texture throughout the piece.

You can create proportion inside your piece by deciding what object you would like to integrate into the figure. You will all work within the same pose, but what object you choose and how you integrate it will be the individual stamp and your problem to solve with this project. For the fartist in you, feel free to have fun with it as well. There is great opportunity to integrate hilarious objects, or play with size relationships in a fun way.
