Directions for “Notes to Self”
As we go over some correct examples of the practice notecards you completed for homework, take notes on your worksheet in colored pen about… Mistakes you notice on your cards Specific changes you would make Notes about what you got RIGHT (star it, point to it, etc.) Reminders for the next time you take notes
3
Notecard 2 Notice that the notecard has just the FULL MLA citation. The back of EACH notecard should have this!
4
Notecard 2 The notecards directly quote only the important info about problems koalas face. Notice that there is no info on how people are trying to solve those problems. This information is in the same paragraph in the actual source, but it doesn’t relate to the topic of the card, so it’s left off of it.
5
Notecard 3 Your card should contain an underlined title with notes that match it. All quotes must be in quotation marks! Also, make sure each detail ONLY relates to the notecard title.
6
Notecard 4 The front of notecard 4 should look just like the sample for notecard 3, but with a different title and new information! The back of notecard 4 should have the full MLA citation, just like notecard 3
