2. Coyotes Appearances Coyotes normally have brown grey or yellow fur.
They have bushy tails with black tips.
They have a yellowish eye appearance.

3. Coyotes prey They eat lots of things.
They eat bison, deer, elk, sheep, rabbits.
Rodents, birds, amphibians, (not toads) snakes.

4. Coyotes have more prey. Fish and insects and unusual prey are.
Fishers, Young black bears, harp seals, and rattle snakes.
I think the coyote eats too much.

5. Odd Behaviors.
They don’t defend there territory outside of denning season.
They are very good hunters.
They bark, yip, and howl.

6. Coyotes enemies
The coyote normally compete against the grey wolf a larger version of them selves.
The rarely kill healthy foxes.
They kill gray foxes in southern California. And very rarely compete against cougars.
