Structure of the PCC The PCC will be responsible for the whole parish as defined in the Constitution of the Church in Wales. The membership shall consist of all clergy licensed to the parish parish wardens sub wardens of each church the parish treasurer (if not already a member) the PCC secretary (if not already a member) Each parish warden will act a sub warden for the church in which they normally worship such that each parish church will have 2 wardens.

Structure of the PCC The PCC will lead the mission and ministry of the whole parish by giving guidance and support to the churches as appropriate arranging certain activities across the whole parish where necessary co-ordinating the various activities in the different churches providing financial governance providing all necessary policies of the parish The PCC will operate through a number of sub committees

Structure of the Church Committees
The membership shall consist of all clergy (though it is anticipated that only one would normally attend) parish wardens sub wardens of said church elected members of said church (a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 10 the number being determined by the PCC in consultation with the said congregation) Only those eligible for election to the PCC shall be eligible for election to a church committee Each church committee is a sub committee of the Parochial Church Council and as such will always be responsible to the PCC. Minutes of every church committee meeting shall be made available to the PCC.

Structure of the Church Committees
The purpose of the church committees is to help the PCC in performing its duties and responsibilities. Initially the church committees shall look after the fabric of the building(s) organise activities which relate to the said church be they evangelistic, pastoral or social in nature co-operate with the PCC in all matters look after the income and expenditure of the said church transfer money on a monthly basis to the parish account to cover parish expenditure, the amount being set by the PCC report all financial transactions to the PCC treasurer The PCC retains the right to alter any of the above.

Committees The committees for the Friends of St Gwynno’s, CAP, Foodbank and Connect will be broader than for the church committees to draw in other stakeholders. These committees will still be responsible to the PCC and need to provide minutes and financial reports

£32,500 (3.25 stipends) Attendee Element 260.3 = £83,039 Each church will contribute Fixed Element £32,500 / 7 = £4,643 Attendee Element £319 per attendee Parish Expenses Each church will pay 1/7 of the expenses of the parish A budget will be created for the parish This figure will be divided by 7 (churches) and by 12 (months) which will be the figure each church will contribute to the PCC in addition to the parish share amount

Finances All Parish finances (except special trusts which otherwise provide, the incumbent’s discretionary fund and in a Parish annexed to a Cathedral property and accounts relating to the Dean and Chapter) shall be under the control of the Council. Constitution of the Church in Wales

Process from here Each PCC votes this evening The Standing Committee of the Diocese agrees to the proposal A Diocesan Decree is produced detailing the new parish Charities of Glyntaff, Rhydyfelin & the Graig ( ) and St Catherine’s Church Pontypridd ( ) are dissolved and a new charity is created. An inauguration service is held when the clergy are licensed and the parish comes into existence The Electoral Rolls are combined A vestry meeting is held to elect Wardens, PCC, Church Committees, etc A priest, a children’s worker and an administrator are appointed The mission and ministry of the Church continues
