Alexander the Great transformed Greek society. He accumulated a huge empire. Alexander the Great destroyed those who opposed him and was very lenient to those who did not fight him. Alexander the Great established Greek culture in all areas that he conquered. He spread Greek ideas of arts, language, and architecture. Alexander the Great’s rule was called Hellenization.
