Brands include Swisher Sweets, King Edward, and Optimo. Business problems that led to evaluating CPM, adopting Prophix: Seeking primarily a Budgeting Forecasting solution as well as allocations Big pain for Finance is Budgeting and the Sales guys require a forecasting tool Another major pain point is allocating tobacco taxes They want to see profit/loss statements by brands and be able to drill down to the invoice. They have product SKU's over 7 divisions divided by domestic and export

Business problems that led to evaluating CPM, adopting Prophix: On the reporting side they have 100 page financial deck. IS, BS cash flow and it takes them 6 days to close the books. They said they have very poor report distribution and execs cannot drill down on any particular items They also do capital asset planning with balance sheet and cash flow planning done in the budget Competitive information: We competed against IBM Cognos express, Powerplan & KCI Control We beat Cognos by a final vote and won for empowering the business users “easy to use” as well as having great room to grow
