2. Day Three: Bible Search
In the Bible Search you will be offering the children an opportunity to find the following parables in Luke’s Gospel:
The Parable of the Sower (Lk 8:4-8)
The Parable of the Lamps (Lk 8:16-18)
The Parable of the Yeast (Lk 15:1-7)
The Parable of the Lost Sheep (Lk 15:1-7)
The Parable of the Lost Coin (Lk 15:8-9)

3. The Parable of the Lost Coin Luke 15:8-9

4. Jesus told the people another story:
What will a woman do if she has ten silver coins and loses one of them?

5. Jesus continued…
She will light a lamp,

6. …sweep the floor,

7. …and look carefully

8. …until she finds it.

9. Then she will call in her neighbours and friends and say,
Let’s celebrate! I’ve found the coin I lost.

10. God’s angels are happy when even one person turns to him.
Jesus said,
