The main Allies were Britain, France, America and Russia.

Britain started fighting because Germany invaded Poland when they had promised Britain they wouldn’t.

Russia started fighting because Germany had agreed to split Poland with them but Germany took it all.

France started fighting because they knew Britain were right and they didn’t want Germany conquering any more countries.
