4 How might DT in schools develop in the future?
1. DT will be organised on a process rather than subject basis 2. DT provision will be more vocational in character 3. Specialist diplomas will change the character of DT post 14 4. Learning really will be personalised 5. There will be a high level of e-learning & design using ICT 6. Project-based learning will be the dominant approach 7. A diversified workforce will support the learner with practical learning task 8. Presentation to student audiences larger than single class units will be common place Used to ascertain audience perceptions – voting using Promethian software
