I think that the package flush is peaked at this timing, because dropped voltage and charge current are maximum. (Drop voltage= 5.0V-3.0V=2.0V, charge current = 1.5A , => the power loss is 3.0W RθJA = 40 °C/W) Therefor, I think the charger IC(BQ42038) could not use with 1.5A charge current. I would like to make sure that the device can meet this use case. Not use 5~6V Customer requirement Vin= 5 to 6 V (not fixed) Vbat= 4.36 V I-Charge = 1.5A Not use 4.36V 1.5A 3.0V
