Brush Unit Overview

2. Objectives
To inform each member of the department understands the equipment, tools and functions of the unit.
To ensure each fire department vehicle is inspected in accordance with established standard operating procedures.
To ensure all members know the capabilities and limitations of the new units.

15. Pump Priming Instructions
Connect your suction hose and screw it tight.
Close the discharges and drain valve(s).
Open the priming valve.
Start the engine and close the exhaust port
When the water comes out of the venture, slowly open the discharge valve.
Close the priming valve and open the exhaust port.
