Never be afraid to give your voice: Members should feel comfortable asking questions, giving comments, sharing their experience at past events, and offering suggestions! This is a great way to develop your leadership skills as a member

3. Participate, Participate!
One of the best things about Key Club is being a part of something great, so it is very important to sign up to attend events and to participate in activities and community service.
At meetings officers will talk about upcoming events, so ask about them.

Learn more about how you can make a difference at different service events: Ask club Officers what impact your making when you volunteer at a service event because believe it or not, EVERY service event makes a huge difference (whether you think so or not).

4. Pay Your Dues!
In order to be an official Key Club member, you must submit your $11.50 dues for Key Club International to your Club Treasurer.
After paying, you will be an official member until the end of the Key Club year.
This is an annual process so you have to pay your dues once a year to continue your membership.
Dues can help pay to support our district and international. From the dues, $7.00 goes to International and $4.50 goes to the District.

So practice these values everyday in and outside of Key Club
These core values help you grow as a leader!
These core values can help you grow as a leader: If you express your core values to Key Clubbers, members and Officers will recognize you as a strong member. You can even receive Member of the Month! Share these core values with others and it will allow you to develop skills necessary to hold an Officer position!

Enjoy all the service projects, fundraisers, socials, and training events planned by club and Division leaders
Opportunities to find your skills (graphic design, photography, public speaking)
More time to bond with new friends
Foster change within your community
Enjoy all the service projects, fundraisers, socials, and training events planned by club and Division leaders: You get to enjoy all the amazing activities planned by your club Officers and Division leaders. Whether it is a fun, impactful service event or Fall Rally Spirit session, you are so privileged to have hard working people want the best out of your Key Club experience.
Opportunities to find your skills (graphic design, photography, public speaking): As a member, you get the chance to figure out what leadership positions you might be interested in based on your strong skills. Do you enjoy photography and want to use it to serve your club? Do you enjoy creating graphics and want to help promoting the club? Are you capable of speaking at meetings or other events? As a member, you can answer all these questions.
Foster change within your community : See the direct impact you make a service project or fundraiser for a preferred charity! You are making a difference by being in Key Club.
