1. Instructions for Using This Template:
The first thing you need to do is Save As and save this as the title of your book in your folder on the server.
Print out these instructions [File/Print/Print Range-Slide 1].
You may want to switch to Notes View [View/Notes Page] and fill out the notes at the bottom first so that you have all of the required information for your Book Talk.
Now go to the actual slide and fill in all of the information I have on it. Feel free to delete any of the “words” I have on the template and just fill in with the actual information. Remember, the information on the slide is there as a visual aid, not to actually be the presentation.
Don’t forget to include a picture of the book: Google the title and go to Google Images for a picture. Click on the picture of that book, View Image, and then copy and paste it onto your slide. Resize it using only the corner squares to keep it proportional.
Make sure you choose an appropriate background/design for your slide/book. If you use a picture for your background, make sure to fade it so that the audience can read the text and focus on the information on the slide.
