CRI Reporting Through STI

Will / Will Not In this session, we will discuss the method for reporting CRIs. We will not discuss the CRI list itself. That is a different session.

Assigning CRIs to Students
May be done by teachers, counselors, or any person with access to student records and permissions to add “district services” Access to documentation of CRI must be available Printouts are not necessary as long as data exists in accessible database

Steps to Adding for Individual Students
Done through the student data record Can be accessed by searching for a student Can be accessed by clicking on the student record number in the gradebook

Assigning CRIs to Groups of Students
Teachers may want to use this when they have multiple students in a given class who have earned the SAME credential.

Next Steps Hotfix is scheduled to be released Monday, April 27th.
A memo will be coming from Dr. Bice regarding the fix Follow up immediately with your district STI person to have the hotfix installed Train your teachers on data entry steps Have teachers update student records before the end of the school year

Known Issues/Limitations
Issues to be addressed by STI in subsequent hotfixes The only report right now comes out as a page per student. The checkbox on the Custom tab is not being populated. inFocus- If you know how to use this tool, you can generate a better report. A “canned” report is forthcoming

Q&A Do we enter student CRIs from last year? Yes, if you have documentation. If they earned one MOS certification last year, does that count as a CRI since that was the rule for ‘13-’14? No. We are entering and counting according to the current set of rules. Other questions from the group?
