‘Plant / Equipment Register’
[Update Certification] Plant / Equipment Maintenance Updating the Certification record for a Plant or Equipment item is managed via the Item’s record in the Plant and Equipment Register This is found under Assets in the Menu Bar ‘Plant / Equipment Register’

[Update Certification] Edit Item
Locate the item in the Register, then click Actions, then Edit

[Update Certification] Certification Tab
Click on the Certification tab The register displays all currently-recorded Maintenance types, together with the details of when the last certification took place, when it is valid until, and the currency status Available statuses are: ‘All OK’ - the certification is current ‘>1 month’ - the certification is current but will expire less than one month from today And ‘Expired’ - the certification has lapsed or the item failed to meet certifiable criteria

[Update Certification] Select Certification Type
Locate the certification type being updated, and click Actions, then Edit

[Update Certification] Add Certification Instance
All instances of the selected type are now displayed in a register To add a new instance, click Add

[Update Certification] Add Certification Instance
Enter the date of the certification Vault will calculate and display the expiry date in the field below Enter the name of the company or employee providing the certification, and select whether it passed or failed

To attach a copy of any related files such as a copy of the certificate itself, click Attach File and locate the file on your computer Vault will store a copy Then, click Save

The added instance has now been recorded and is visible in the register for this particular certification type Click Save Certification to return to the Certification Register

The overall Certification Register now reflects the added instance and displays updated dates and currency status

[Update Certification] Add New Maintenance Type
If the Certification type being renewed is not currently displayed in the Register, click Add

[Update Certification] Add New Certification Type Details
Select the interval and name of the Certification Then, click Add and supply the instance details as before Once all details have been added, click Save Certification The details have now been saved

Click Save Company Plant to return to the Plant and Equipment Register Those responsible for certification currency will receive an escalation from Vault when the expiry nears, provided this has been enabled in Vault Settings
