Security Check A security alert displays when you run a rule Inventor detects to be potentially unsafe. You can choose to run the rule as safe or not run the rule. If you select Don't Run the rule, the rule becomes disabled and will not run. If you select Run the rule, the iLogic Security Advisor displays where you can identify all rules in the file or project that have been accepted as safe, and access the iLogic Security dialog box for additional options for managing unknown code. In addition, in the iLogic Security dialog box you can access the Disabled Rules dialog box, where you can re-enable a rule that you have disabled. Note: iLogic Security box can be accessed from: Manage tab iLogic panel Event Triggers Tools tab Options panel iLogic Configuration

Triggers for others are stored in a single XML file named RulesOnEvents.xml. iLogic will look for RulesOnEvents.xml in the first folder that the user has configured as an External Rule Directory from iLogic configuration editor.

Set the file to read-only or change its permissions to prevent others from modifying the data. Status text reading "Locked" may show up on the global triggers tabs. Another is editing the global event triggers. You might not have write permission on the global triggers file. Access to edit global triggers
