WELCOME BACK! Take a HTRLLAP sheet from the V.I.P. table. Start a new Bell Work Sheet for the week and be ready to write for a few minutes.

2. Bell Work:
Copy this: Distance yourself from all negativity. Negativity takes away from your successes and dims the light in your soul. Adopt an attitude of positivity that will electrify you and make you shine. Now write your response to this: List three (3) negative things you will try to distance yourself from and three (3) positive actions/attitudes you will replace these with.

3. Frankenstein Group Activity:
Split up into five groups. Your group will have approximately thirty minutes to create a Creature from the materials I give you and what you have. Be creative!
Your Creature must have a face, arms, legs and a torso made from the materials you are given.
Once your Creature is complete, take the index card and write a brief description of your Creature. What special features does he/she possess? What is its personality like? How do you feel about it? Be prepared to introduce your Creature to the class.

4. Exit Ticket:
How To Read Literature Like A Professor will be due Monday night, so go ahead and get a head start on it. If you don’t have a copy of the book, remember it is available in pdf on my website.
