Why are bureaucracies considered to be so troubling? What would happen if communities did not have citizens who were willing to perform volunteer services? What does community welfare refer to? What are some of the ways citizens can volunteer in their communities?

Class Assignment Construct two (2) pyramid graphic organizers and rearrange the duties and responsibilities listed two slides earlier into what YOU FEEL is the order they should be in (you cannot use the order given). For each duty and responsibility describe IN DETAIL in your opinion the single best way how a citizen can fulfill it.

“Exit Slip” Identify the difference between duties and responsibilities. Describe the consequences associated with not having a sound education. Describe what would happen to a community if “volunteers” were not available.
