2. What is my identity?
I’m 17 years of age, of a Ghanaian and St. Lucian descent. I currently study media at Leyton Sixth form college. I’m highly interested in both the music and film industry as people say this how I best express my creativeness. For this reason I am aiming to build a career in either section. On weekdays I go to college and go to boxing after three times a week. I've lived in east London all my life and this has boosted some of my hobbies such as sports and music.

3. What is my purpose?
My purpose is to do well in school and to go to university. If not that then after college go into either the film or music industry to share my ideas with other people. My aim is to get my name known or credited to make my family proud. After this is done, I then am planning to travel abroad to either study or work, this is so I can share plans with different types of people and see how things work in other places around the world.

4. What have I learnt? - knowledge
Since the start of this academic year, I have learnt how to use Adobe Indesign and Adobe premiere pro. These are both programs that help within the film industry. I find that i have built good skills in both programs as I learnt from scratch, as well as learning in lessons how to use them I also watched videos to help boost my skills. I also have learnt some media terms and a lot of camera work, from videography to photography. I now know how to function a camera properly, use most Adobe’s and create magazine double page spreads, adobe Photoshop and how to edit films. Additionally I know how to create radio dramas and use a Tascam and many more pieces of camera equipment.

6. What do I want to achieve? - Progression
Over the next couple of years, I want to grow in the film industry, specialising in video editing/production. I feel as if these are my most strongest sections within media studies. I want to be able to go to university and study to get a degree. To assure I can get to that stage, I would like to create a series of short films to get my name known. I’d also try and follow up that idea so I have a portfolio to show any employers. I’d like to do video production abroad so I can build and study with other types of people. This type of diversity could help me learn different things.
